"BIG QUESTIONS" PROPOSAL
WHY: Simple, chunky, bold fonts with loud colors seem to be in right now. I think this style will appeal to the modern skeptic. A viewer will be able to feel that what's being communicated isn't disconnected from their day to day life.
WHY: Although this font feels a bit "cartoony," it packs a punch and helps viewers feel the weight of what's being communicated. It's stark enough to take seriously and fluid enough to allow wonder.
WHY: These colors are memorable, eye catching, loud and can be both intense and yet minimal depending on what color you use to lead. I think these colors will aid in the density of what's being communicated.
We would like to do a similar feel to the "Train Wrecks" series motion graphic video. The questions would swing in while a nice beat played in the background. We at first thought, "man on the street" would be great for this but we wanted to save that for the Matthew series. With the Matthew series being so long, the man on the street every so often could help break up the bumper.
