BREAKFAST CLUB

For the coming 2024-2025 School Year, we will be 'altering the course' of ALIVE Breakfast Club while keeping ALIVE Breakfast Club active and in motion.

The reasons for these adjustments are two fold: To accommodate the growth that we've been experiencing, as well as remaining relevant in how we reach our youth of today.

Providing a space for Students to be on Sunday mornings is important to us, and we want to maximize the time we have with your students. To do so, my team and I had to look forward into the fall season, and accept the fact that some 'reconstruction' to our Sunday morning gathering was necessary.

Simply put, we will be strengthening our teaching moment of the service by breaking it up to accommodate 3 separate speaking sessions, each time we gather on Sundays. Doing so will allow us to get more concentrated connection time with each of our students, while providing more opportunities for discussion, reflection, and deeper engagement with the material. This approach ensures that our students can absorb and apply what they learn in a more meaningful and personalized way.

How this will look:

  • Each of the 3 'teaching sessions' held on a Sunday morning would all happen simultaneously during, what has typically been, the sermon time. The ALIVE team and I have collaborated on 15 different mini-series to cover from Sunday, September 1 through December.

  • We will still operate during the scheduled Breakfast Club time, during the 10:30 AM service, but students will be able to choose which weekly topic they would like to learn about/attend for the teaching time of the service.

The Service Order:

  • The Student Center doors will open at 10:15 AM for check-in and hang out time.

  • At 10:30 AM, we will go into a time of student-led worship in the Student Center.

  • After the time of worship, students will disperse to one of the 3 sermon options happening that given Sunday.

There will be 3 gathering spaces for the teaching time:

  1. Madison Room (a separate room located at the north end of the New Life Building)

  2. "Stage" (North side of the Student Center aka: stage-side)

  3. "Cafe" (South side of the Student Center aka: court-side)

**Before the conclusion of the 10:30 AM service, all students will return to the Student Center to be ready for pick up.**
