A GUIDE TO KINGDOM PRAYER
For the kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Romans 14:17
What is righteousness? Righteousness is having a right heart.
What is peace? Peace is having right relationships.
What is joy? Joy is having a right perspective.
Lord, today I seek your Kingdom first.
May my heart find refuge in your presence.
May my relationships flourish in your peace.
May my life find joy in your perspective.
As your kingdom comes to me, may it also arrive through me.
In Jesus name, Amen.
Lord, today I seek your Kingdom first.
I acknowledge my dependence on you.
I breathe in your grace and express my gratitude for spending this moment with you.
I remember the kingdom of God has a cultural rule called RIGHTEOUSNESS.
RIGHTEOUSNESS
(gr. Dikaisune – Di-ki-a-soon-ay)
Dikaisune ‘is’ A heart that is at home in the Kingdom of God
May my heart find refuge in your presence.

Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me.
Psalm 51:10
As I search my heart:
Is there anywhere in my heart that is out of alignment with your love and leadership?
May my relationships flourish in your peace.
PEACE
The Hebrew word is (heb. Shalom)
peace, harmony, wholeness, completeness, prosperity, welfare and tranquility
Shalom is a community, thriving under the rule of God’s non-anxious and self-giving love.
Let the peace of Christ rule in my heart and be thankful.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
Matthew 5:9
As I search my heart:
Who can I bring a sense of compassion and calm to today?
Where can I help others thrive around me?
For what or whom am I grateful for today?
May my life find joy in your perspective.
The Kingdom of God has a cultural reality called JOY.
JOY
(gr. Chara – Ka-ra)
Joy is a feeling of inner gladness, delight or rejoicing.
Let the joy of the Lord be my strength!
Nehemiah 8:10
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.
Philippians 4:4
As I search my heart:
Am I prepared to be a joyful presence in the lives of others today?
Where or how is God currently bringing me joy and encouragement?
As your kingdom comes to me, may it also arrive through me.
In Jesus name, Amen.

THE LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors;
lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever and ever.
Amen.
