HOME MATTERS

Home Matters will continue to visit topics that greatly impact our daily life as we care for our families and ourselves. We will be looking at self-esteem, physical and emotional well-being, relationship dynamics, sexual intimacy, and a dash of practical household topics. Mostly, we want you to feel welcomed, heard, and cared for as we strive, with God’s help, to restore the dignity and sanctity to our homes and the people that live within. Led by Colleen Price and Cindy Arnestad.

SIMPLY THE WORD Tuesday mornings

In The Amazing Collection, we will cover a book of the Bible with each class. We begin in the book of 1 & 2 Timothy and will glean from other books in the New Testament like Titus, Philemon, Hebrews, James, Peter, John, and finish with Revelation. You’ll be inspired in your faith as you experience personal discipleship growth each week. It truly is an “amazing” journey through the scriptures! (DVD and class teaching each week) Led by Lynne Hall.

The longing in me: how everything you crave leads to the heart of god

Join Sheila Walsh as she intertwines King David’s life with her own, while sharing some of her trials. In this six-week study, we will discover how our desires/cravings are not the problem in our lives, it’s where they lead us that can make all the difference. Led by Tracy Grayson.

MOPS (MOTHERS OF PRESCHOOLERS)

At MOPS, we discover the joys of motherhood while finding rest in the margins. Make friends, share some laughs, and grow stronger through the support of other mom's who get life with little ones. MOPS welcomes women who are expecting or have kids through kindergarten. Coordinators: Crystal Avent & Stacy Toliver.

BEHIND THE MASK

Begins Sunday, June 25

This 16-week program is for young, single women (ages 15 – 25), struggling with the need to feel loved at any cost. You may struggle with sexting, pornography, and/or compulsive sexual behaviors. You may also be going from relationship to relationship trying to get your needs met. Behind the Mask will bring hope! Discover where healthy patterns of living can be developed in ways that allow you to trust God and let Him heal your heart. BETRAYAL & BEYOND

Betrayal and Beyond helps women heal from the wounds of betrayal (i.e. partner's addiction to pornography, adultery).  If your spouse or boyfriend has betrayed you through infidelity or pornography, there is hope for you. You'll learn how betrayal impacts you, how to recover, and how to grieve in a healthy way to find healing. This group utilizes the workbook ($25) and journal ($15), Betrayal & Beyond and can be ordered from Pure Desire Ministries.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED: 

  • Read the FAQ's to determine if this Group is for you. 
  • Complete the Survey and Questionnaire and mail to Betrayal & Beyond, New Life Church, 6830 Highland Drive, Everett, WA 98203, or scan and e-mail to BandB@newlifeeverett.org.
  • Attend an orientation. You will hear an overview of the material, learn meeting dates/times, and hear a testimony from a woman who has gone through the program.
